Fleur has over 13 years’ experience as a resources analyst on both the buy and sell side including resources analyst roles with UBS and Bell Potter Securities and prior to that four years’ experience as an engineer with Orica.
Fleur joined UBS as resources associate analyst in 2002 covering major mining companies and developed her own coverage of emerging coal, iron ore and uranium producers. In 2005, Fleur assumed lead coverage of the gold, metals and steel sectors. In 2008, Fleur moved to Southern Cross Equities (now Bell Potter Securities), a resources specialist firm. She had lead coverage of metals and mining stocks of varying market caps from major mining companies through to junior mid cap explorer/developers (including Oxiana), and across a range of commodities. As a senior analyst, Fleur was responsible for assessing investment opportunities, valuing resources companies globally, evaluating different commodities and price forecasting, developing financial and cash flow models, and communicating recommendations to institutional investors.
Fleur has a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Melbourne and an MBA with a major in finance from Melbourne Business School. Fleur completed part of her MBA at Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University, on the L.E.K. Consulting Travel Scholarship.
