Creagh is a senior resources and investment banking executive with over 29 years experience in resources investments, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, debt and capital raisings.

Creagh is currently Managing Director of Standard Chartered’s Metals and Mining group. Prior to that, he was Group General Manager of Business Development for Newmont Group (Australia) (formerly Normandy Mining), Managing Director of Queensland Metals Limited, Investment Banking Executive at Morgan Grenfell Group (now Deutsche Bank) and Executive at Price Waterhouse (Restructuring Division).

Creagh was the co-founder of Gryphon Partners, a specialist resources corporate advisory firm with offices in Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, Toronto and Vancouver, which was acquired by the Standard Chartered Group in 2011.

Creagh has been lead advisor to many major resources mergers and acquisitions over the last 29 years including many of Oxiana’s acquisitions, capital raisings and the initial public offering of Tigers Realm Coal.

Creagh holds a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) and Bachelor of Laws (University of Adelaide). He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Non-Executive Director of Chesser Resources Limited (ASX listed).
